Happy Birthday Andrew!!!!
Today Andrew is turning ONE and I can’t believe it.
I know all mom’s say that but this year seemed to go by so fast or maybe it was just so busy that we never had time to think about it.
All I know is that it seems like I just had him. I remember going to the hospital (I had to be induced because he was so late) being in labor, and getting ready to meet him.
Side note: women who say they forget all about the pain….LIE!! I still remember it!! He was actually my only one to get an epidural with and it wore within an hour and they couldn’t give me more. :( But, I will tell you that it’s 100% worth it!
This past year has had it’s ups & downs with my husband always working (like 15-16hr days), traveling, Scott getting his MBA, selling our home, packing it up, moving into a rental, moving again, moving into our new home, unpacking everything, creating a new home, painting, rebranding my business, school, homework, blogging, cooking, cleaning, mothering, and so on and so on…. but one major blessing was that Andrew was seriously the BEST BABY EVER!!!!
I honestly never heard of a better baby! I am not just saying that as his mom….others agree!
He is so outgoing, goes with the flow (even though he has no choice), falls asleep on his own, great for babysitters, great at nursing, great traveler (he has been to Vegas, Mexico and other places already), great in the stroller, etc, etc.
Although, he has been a little needy the past few days. (I wonder if it’s because I am starting to wean him off nursing or teething. Not sure because he is usually the best. That’s what I get for thinking he is perfect, right?)
These photos were taken at the hospital the day after he was born.
You can read about our first week with him here.
I had a very sweet lady come out and take his new born pictures when he was 4 days old.
(If you live by me, I can give you her name. She is awesome!!)
Here are some more pictures of Andrew’s first year!!
(Thank goodness of iPhones and Instagram, right?)
Here is a collage of pictures of only Andrew and me.
