- Time with God and Prayer
Every morning I spend time with God. This has been a game changer for me in my life and really sets the tone for my day. I’m pretty much in LOVE with the devotional Jesus Calling by Sarah Young.
I also really love listening to any of Matthew Kelly’s Audible books on my Audible app. You can check him out here.
Carving out time with God and prayer has been so refreshing to my days and I have never felt deeper in my faith right now. I’m so grateful for this time every day.
2. Self-development and Personal Growth
It’s no secret that I am OBSESSED with personal growth and development. In fact, I listen to a minimum of 3 hours a day of inspirational podcasts, youtube videos, and audible books. I also read every evening while winding down. I walk my kids to and from school and listen while I walk. I am always trying to feed my brain and soul good things to inspire me so that I can inspire my team as well. I make time for this and actually map that time in. I listen while I am working out, walking, grocery shopping, etc. It’s my favorite time of day to relax and listen to something inspiring. If you want to keep up with what I am always listening to, you can follow along with my newsletter. I share weekly everything I am listening to and reading HERE.
3. Personal Self-Care
Taking care of your body and nourishing yourself is so very important. I first began dry brushing my skin last spring and I have had amazing results. It helps my body detoxify, exfoliates, cleans pores, helps with cellulite, and gives me a natural energy boost. I used to be the mom that threw my hair up in a messy bun and ran myself exhausted taking care of my family. I will no longer be that mom. I’m super intentional with taking care of myself. I want to set the example for my kids that they need to make themselves a priority and take care of themselves. We deserve to take care of ourselves! Dry brushing is just one thing I do to be intentional and take care of my body.
Right now I am currently in LOVE with Soul Core! It is my absolute FAVORITE right now! I am in the process of trying to get certified as a Soul Core instructor. I can’t WAIT to be able to share this with other Moms. I use my doTERRA yoga collection to diffuse while I’m practicing my Soul Core and it is absolutely refreshing for my mind and body. I can’t even begin to tell you how much Soul Core has helped heal, restore and inspire me. Be sure to check it out if you’re interested!
