I am really excited about this makeover because it’s my only daughter’s room!!
In our last house, Grace’s room was pink (see here) and now she is really into purple so guess what color the walls are?
Yup, purple and I love it!!
Santa brought her some really pretty designer pillows (good thing they were Santa because I would never pay that much for a pillow, lol!) and that was the inspiration for the whole room.
I brought the pillow into our local Sherwin Williams to see my designer (Anna) and she helped my pick out this beautiful color called Silver Poeny.
It’s a light purple that is not too-in-your-face! It’s a beautiful color for anyone especially if you are almost 8.
Her room is the biggest of the kids’ rooms since she is the oldest and it will also be used as our guest room.
Here is what it looked like before we painted it.
I love the architectural ceilings in all the upstairs rooms. The people that lived here before us, raised the roof and each room has amazing angles.
This is a cute little nook and closet entryway.
Even her closet has an angle.
Here are some “after” photos!
Here are the pillows that I love!! :) (Grace loves them too!)
I bought this dresser at the Goodwill for $25 (including a nightstand) and I am going to paint it white.
We had the inside of the closet painted too!
My husband thought I was crazy but it looks great, huh? LOL!!
I can’t wait to do some more decorating and hang a few things on the wall but until then, we are enjoying the new paint!
