Michael’s room was actually the first room that we painted because he is our little organizer and LOVES his own personal space.
The other kids can live in complete disarray and be fine with it. They don’t even see mess but Michael on the other hand has a place for everything he owns.
He is my little sweetie and we couldn’t wait for him to feel at home here so Scott and I painted it before we moved in during the night!
Yup, we brought the kids here and put them to sleep in the basement and painted all night long. Good thing we are young because we are CRAZY!! LOL!!
Plus, Scott didn’t want him in a “pink” room, hehe!
His room even has this cute little cubby that Michael thinks is the neatest thing ever!
It’s a small room with even smaller closets.
That is the downside of an old home but I can deal with that.
Here we are painting at midnight!!
We look tired, don’t we? We cranked the music, drank tea, talked, and had a blast making our new house, our home!!
Awww, the memories! :)
Here is the after!!
This theme is red, white, blue, and grey.
He got a new quilt from Santa but the rest of his stuff is the same stuff from his old room. (See his old room here)
His closet is the there.
The dresser on the right was Scott’s when he was a child. (I need to paint it white.)
This is a peek into the cubby.
Right now, his closet doesn’t have any shelving but we have a rod.
He has his own hamper.
