I’ve been getting requests for home tour blog posts so I’m excited to share this room with you today!
This room is directly left when you walk into our house. It’s one of the first things you see when you come in.
This room is for children’s play and a room for homework. I want our kids to feel very comfortable and motivated in here.
Here’s our study…
I have a person handyman. I know a lot of you women like to DIY everything but I don’t even like hanging my own frames so I make my hubby do it, ha!
I showed him this college trick and he appreciated that!
Even Andrew has a place of his own.
I wanted my kiddos to have desks on the main floor so I can help them and they can have a quiet place to study except it’s never quiet around here, haha! (Grace has another desk in her room for when she really a needs to study in peace.)
The desks and chairs are PotterBarn and the baskets and lamps are from Target.
We also have a board where they can hang good papers, artwork, ribbons, etc. and they love this board!!
I seriously love this sign especially if people see this right away. It’s kinda like our messy house disclosure!! We need this! I obviously took pics of this room after it was clean but if you walked in my house now, you found find train tracks, Lincoln logs, and Legos everywhere!!!
Here’s a real life photo of what the room looks like now! :) #keepingitreal
Have a great day!
