I’m so excited about this post!! I have been getting lots of requests for a home tour of our new house and I’m finally getting to it. First, I need to share that I am not a “blogger” blogger. By that, I mean, I didn’t edit of my photos or go crazy over them. In fact, I took all of these photos from my phone (like pretty much all my photos), right after I cleaned my house. We were getting ready for company so I took advantage of my picked-up home and quickly went around and snapped photos.
Let’s start with Grace’s room.
We splurged and bought her new Pottery Barn Kids furniture and Pottery Barn Teen bedding. We already had her butterflies (from Target) from her last room. The mirrors are also from Target. The cross was mine from my first Communion. Her teal chair is from Kohl’s.
Her lamps are from Home Depot and the through blanket is from Target. The wall color is called Amazing Gray from Sherwin Williams.
The theme for her room is clean, simple, and inspirational. The few items that she has out are from Home Goods or Marshals. She has another desk downstairs in our study but we also wanted her to have her own where she can work in private.
Since Grace is the only girl, she needed her own space and she loves her room!!
Next, I’ll show you my older boys, Michael and Matthew’s room. Their theme is anything boyish that’s red, white, or blue.
To save space in their room, I put their beds against the walls and I put a card table in the corner covered by a sheet.
Now, we move on to Andrew’s room! The whole house is painted with the same color, Amazing Gray! Andrew’s room is also simple. We keep most of our toys in the basement and study.
You might noticed that there isn’t a pillow on his bed and that’s because 1) that’s his security pillow and carries it all over the house and 2) he has only slept in his own bed a few times since moving in. Since traveling during the summer, living in hotels, a condo, and an apartment before moving into this house, Andrew was used to sharing a room so now he always sleeps with Grace or Michael. (It’s adorable and makes bedtime way easier so we let him.)
Here’s a few pictures of our hallway.
