I’m training for the Indy Mini Half Marathon and today was my last long run. This will be my first time running a half and I’ve really enjoyed running and training with my hubby! He’s a lot faster than me buts it’s been fun to hit the trail together. We usually do our long runs on Tuesdays and we take turn pushing out 3 year old in the stroller.

I just got the Flip Belt and found it handy for carrying everything – iPhone, snacks, water, etc.
I bought 2 smaller bottles for my Flip Belt and think that should be enough because I literally need pee like every 2 minutes.
I tried the Honey Stinger Organic Enegy Gels. I don’t know if I noticed a difference from those but my husband loves them!
We both are obsessed with our natural Energy Chews. I have one before the run and another one at mile 4 but during the half marathon I will probably have one every 2-3 miles. They have green tea extract and they give an awesome energy boost!
I also love stretching and take a yoga class with my hubby every Monday! (It’s great for runners and moms!!)
Also, after my runs, I like to soak in an Epsom salt bath!! Sometimes, thinking of my bath motivated me to finish, haha!! I buy the huge bags of salt on Amazon so I never run on. I also add some essential oils and drink sparkling water. (I promise I’m not that high maintenance, lol….I blame it on that fact that I have Lyme Disease and need to take extra care of myself!)
