I posted my bulletproof coffee to my Insta stories yesterday and received several questions about how I make it. Have you tried bulletproof coffee before? Basically it’s buttered coffee!! How amazing does that sound? I’ve been making a bulletproof coffee on and off for five years now. If you’re just starting, start slow and work yourself up to the full recipe. Here is the recipe from the bulletproof website.
Start with one cup of brewed coffee (8 to 12 ounces). Always use organic coffee.
Then pour your coffee into a blender and add 1 teaspoon to 2 tablespoons of brain octane oil, that is going to keep your mind flowing.
After that, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of grass-fed, unsalted butter, I use kerrygold butter because it’s the best.
I like to add a little bit of Stevia to sweeten it. You can also add a little bit of vanilla or an essential oil. The best essential oils to add to your coffee are one drop of doTERRA peppermint, or cinnamon.
Then you mix it in a blender for about 20 to 30 seconds until it looks like a foamy latte.
