Up-cycling Empty Essential Oil Bottles
Happy Earth Day!
Anyone else have hundreds of empty essential oil bottles?
I thought it would be fun to share a few recipes that you can put in your used essential oil bottles. I ordered all kinds of fun tops you can add to your 15ml bottles from @oil.life so I can reuse all my bottles. These also make great gifts or a fun way to share a sample!
Here are a few recipes. (Just change the amounts according to your bottle size.)
Hope and Harmony Room Spray
1.5 ounces distilled water
1.5 ounces witch hazel
4-ounce spray bottle
15 drops Bergamot oil
10 drops Clary Sage oil
10 drops Sandalwood oil
Welcome Home Room Spray
1.5 ounces distilled water
1.5 ounces witch hazel
4-ounce spray bottle
15 drops Lavender oil
15 drops Lemon oil
Pause and Refresh Room Spray
1.5 ounces distilled water
1.5 ounces witch hazel
4-ounce spray bottle
15 drops Roman Chamomile oil
15 drops Rosemary oil
Hand Cleaner Spray
1 tablespoon aloe vera gel
20 drops doTERRA On Guard
Water
8oz glass spray bottle
Razor Relief Spray
½ cup Fractionated Coconut Oil
¼ cup rosewater (can be purchased at health food stores)
5 drops Frankincense oil
5 drops Lavender oil
5 drops Melaleuca oil
5 drops Helichrysum oil
5 drops Myrrh oil
After Sun Spray
1 cup aloe vera juice
¼ cup doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil
1 teaspoon vitamin E
8 drops Lavender oil
8 drops Melaleuca oil
8 drops Peppermint oil
Breath Spray
5 mL glass spray bottle
3–5 drops essential oil (peppermint, spearmint, Wild Orange, or cinnamon)
Distilled or filtered water
Serenity Bed Spray
4 ounces distilled water
2 ounces witch hazel or rubbing alcohol
35-45 drops Serenity
